2015 Sema of the Path of Love
The Mevlevi Order of America, led by Spiritual Director Makam Postneshin Jelaleddin Loras, celebrates the mystical union of Rumi with the Whirling Dervish Ceremony - this timeless ritual has stirred the hearts of humanity with sacred beauty for over 700 years. The beloved 13th century mystical poet and Sufi Master Mevlana Jelaluddin Rumi was the original whirling dervish. Dr. Timucin Cevikoglu, Master Turkish Musician, will lead the MOA Orchestra accompanying the ceremony with authentic sacred music.
