Heal The Afghan Children! An afternoon of Sufi music and remembrance to benefit the children of Afghanistan. March 23, Saturday, 2-5 pm, Universalist Unitarian Church of Palo Alto, 505 East Charleston Road, Palo Alto, CA. Suggested donation $20. Three Sufi Orders, the Jerrahi Order of California, the Mevlevi Order of America, and the Sufi Ruhaniat International unite to share music and Sufi practices for the benefit of the children of Afghanistan.
All proceeds will go to an Afghan-led, indigenous organization, Help the Afghan Children, Inc. that is now free to do openly what it has done for years in secret: feed, educate, and care for the children of Afghanistan.
Contributions also accepted on-line. There is a report of aid delievered to Afghan families late last year through Help the Afghan Children,Inc.
