Dear Friends and Semazen,
The purpose of the Summer Mevlevi Camp is to come to be one voice, feel our
capability, and search in the realm of spirituality.Everyone of us has many
gifts of the Divine.As you know, we don't know all of them yet, but there is
some astonishing beauty that we are making together. Allow me to discover more
of you, to work with you, and prepare you for the evening of Rumi, who is the
Pir of the Mevlevi. Come, share your love for this path, share your trust and
hold hands with me to present what is Mevlevi Rumi Evening at the end of the
camp. (Please semazen, bring sheepskin, your sema costume and zikr costumes
because in the evening we are going to use both of them.)

Teachers and teacher trainees will meet with Postneshin Jelaluddin Loras, for
training, purification and guidelines for teaching in the local centers for
the next year and a half.
Study will include: traditional turn training on the turn boards, traditional
prayer practices, Mesnevi studies, music, and poetry.
Special guest teacher: Esin Celebi – blood descendant of Pir Mevlana Jelaluddin
Rumi. She comes as representative of her brother, Faruk Hamdem Celebi, lineage
holder of the Mevlevi Order in the world today. Accompanying her will be her
nephew, Neset Celebi.
